I bet this will encourage heaps of Aussies to holiday in Bali.

Sounds like the prosecutors are on drugs!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5426187053282004467.post-54109699056989837052010-10-02T22:34:42.465+10:002010-10-02T22:34:42.465+10:00Why did Australian police allow it to happen? &qu...Why did Australian police allow it to happen? "Serve & Protect" just as long if it doesn't impact on our international relations and you are a small player in the drug trade.

It is a disgrace. I can't help thinking that we got Hicks home, so why are more people not kicking up a fuss about this?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5426187053282004467.post-60492645715321183062010-10-01T11:22:04.108+10:002010-10-01T11:22:04.108+10:00Good article Terry.
It's an absolute disgrace...Good article Terry.
It's an absolute disgrace that the prosecutors are pushing for the death penalty for a young boy that was nothing more than a mule that played a minor role in this case. Remember also, that the original prosecutors never demanded the death sentence in the first place, they asked for life!

Also, I seen somewhere that the prosecutors stated that they don't differentiate, when it comes to sentencing for drug crimes!! Well, what hypocrites they are!! If that were the case, then Renae Lawrence and the others would have been dealt the same sentence as Scott!!

And then with the Schapelle Corby fiasco!! No one takes mj to Bali to sell..period!! I have no doubt in my mind that the Bali police planted the drugs, and the Australian government knew it!! Why else would the AFP decide not to investigate this in Australia, to track down anyone else that might be involved??

Why else, would the Bali police try and urge Schapelle to handle the plastic bag to get her finger prints on it, when, if they thought she were guilty, they would assume her prints were already there anyway!!

Why else would they refuse Schapelle's plea to test the drugs for origin, if they believed they came from Australia?? And the list goes on.

Let's hope the Supreme Court judges show better judgement when considering both Scott's and Schapelle's clemency bids, after all, when you consider that out of the 70 odd people arrested and gaoled for their roles in the Bali bombings, about 55 have been released and are now free!!Donnoreply@blogger.com
